I recently discovered these two relaxation & meditation DVDs that are just wonderful.
Clear Meditation Instructions
My first recommendation is for a DVD created by Meditainment that is called Instant Relaxation – Guided Meditation DVD. This particular DVD has been used in the in-flight entertainment systems of major airlines and contains 30 different relaxation experiences.
Depending on your current stress levels and the purpose of your meditation, you can choose between the following three options:
- Freedom from Stress
- Calmness & Clarity
- Deep & Natural Sleep
You can also select the setting of your choice between a summer day, spa of relaxation, or tropical paradise.
On top of these options, you can also select whether you want a male or female voice to provide you with the meditation instructions.
These relaxation experiences create powerful meditation images thanks to the engaging storyline and background music. I strongly recommend this DVD to everyone.
A.M. and P.M. Meditation Techniques
My second recommendation for those who prefer the typical seated meditation positions combined with yoga postures is AM and PM Meditation by GAIAM.
This DVD is perfect for the mind, body, and health. It features Rodney Yee and a popular meditation instructor called Maritza.
This DVD provides you with 3 sets of meditation instructions and meditation positions to choose from to create your own most powerful meditation session:
- AM Meditation lasts 25 minutes and includes yoga poses, breathing, and seated meditation.
- PM Meditation lasts 30 minutes and allows you to re-center yourself through yoga, breathing, and guided meditation.
- Seated Meditation Preparation lasts 10 minutes and is to be used to released tension in the hips. It can be used before and/or after the AM and/or PM Meditation.
The DVD also features interviews with Rodney and Maritza.
